Kitchen Help

Job Description:

To help prepare meals under the direction of the cook for the Meals Program. Includes cleanup.

Qualifications:

Patience and understanding. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Hours of Work:
|
One day per week Mon-Fri 9:30 a.m. until cleanup after lunch. Some standby help is required.

Transportation

Job Description:

To drive seniors to and from appointments in Steinbach and Winnipeg.

Qualifications:
|
Must have a valid drivers license. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Hours of Work:
|
At convenience of senior to arrive at appointment on time.

Deliver Meals
|

Job Description:
|
To deliver Meals on Wheels.
|
|
Qualifications:
|
Must have valid drivers license, patience and sincerity.
|
|
Hours of Work:
|
One day per week, Mon-Fri. Pick up meals at 11:30 a.m.. Usually done by 12:00. Some standby drivers are required.

Friendly Visitor

Job Description:

To visit one on one with a senior. You will be matched with a senior to visit weekly.

Qualifications:

Sincerity and understanding. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Done at convenience of volunteer and senior.
