Meals on Wheels allow the elderly, the disabled and short-term convalescing patients to stay in their own familiar surroundings.

Meals are prepared low in fat and salt.

Meals are delivered Monday to Friday, except on holidays. Delivery time is between 11:45 and 12:30. Each volunteer delivers approximately 8-10 meals so the delivery time may vary from day to day. Your meal is delivered in a plastic tray. The volunteer driver will leave the tray with you. They will pick it up the next time a meal is delivered. If you quit in the meantime, please make sure the trays are returned to the Meals Program.

***Please do not put the tray in the oven or on the stove***

The fee per meal is $5.00. The fee represents the actual cost of the food and supplies. The volunteer drivers donate their time and use of their vehicles.

Reservations required by 9 a.m. Call 326-4604 to order or cancel Meals on Wheels.

At the end of the month you will receive a bill. Please make the cheque payable to Serving Seniors Meal Program and mail the cheque to:
