| A large library serves the entire region. Steinbach is also home to the Kindale Occupational Centre for the mentally challenged, run in cooperation with the Association for Community Living. Originally started as a school, the Centre's primary focus is to provide meaningful training and productive work for those who have a lot to contribute when given the opportunity. |

Providence College and Theological Seminary is a private, evangelical Christian institution dedicated to discipling and equipping people for Christ-centred life and ministry in the 21st century. January of 2000 marked the 75th anniversary of the educational ministry of Providence. Over 35 majors are offered at the undergraduate and graduate level. New facilities, programs and professors have contributed to a growing student body.
